First Aid and CPR Training Facility

CarePlus CPR Adult/Infant/Child G2015

CarePlus CPR is an important and useful member of the MEDIC FIRST AID® Family of Programs. CarePlus CPR replaces CPR-only classes. The CarePlus CPR program is a tool for community training in CPR with the added benefit of other Essential Skills of Patient Care. Infant, child, and adult skills are presented where they are applicable. This course is available to anyone in your community.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest: Respiratory and Circulation System, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Early Defibrillation, Chain of Survival, Chain of Survival for Children
CPR and AED Provider: CPR and AED Provider, Legal Considerations, Recognizing an Emergency and Deciding to Help, Personal Safety, Disease Transmission and Universal Precautions, Removing Contaminated Gloves, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Basic CPR Skills: Primary Assessments, Compressions and Breaths
Basic Life Support Care: Unresponsive and Breathing, Recovery Position, Unresponsive and Not Breathing - Adult, Child, and Infant, Automated External Defibrillators (AED)
Foreign Body Airway Obstruction: Adult, Child, and Infant Choking
Additional Considerations: Emotional Considerations
Optional Topics: Control of Bleeding, Internal Bleeding, Shock, Stroke, Pain, Severe Pressure or Discomfort in Chest

Before the course date students must:

1. Register for a class date. You can register online for one of our scheduled classes or set up  your own private class. You can also call to register and get more information at 508-907-6227 or stop into our training facility.
2. Once registered you will receive an e-mail within a few days for the online portion of the course.
3. Complete the online portion of the course before your class date.
4. Attend a practical application session. Sessions can be at our training facility, at your work, or home. Session runs approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on class size and abilities.

Online Group Scheduled Course and Practical Session:  $75

Online Private Class and Practical Session: $100 (per person 1-3) ($75 per person 4+)

Group Rates:  10 paid 1 FREE!

Full classroom session option available: $150 per person (Groups of 10 or more receive group rate of $75 per person) (3 to 4 hour session)

Price Includes: Instruction, MEDIC FIRST AID Pediatric Student Guide, Wallet Skill Guide Card, Certificate of Recognition, and Successful Completion Card. Also provided in this course are use of latex gloves, roll gauze, pocket mask, manikins, and mats.

Age Requirement: There is no minimum age requirement. However, regardless of age, students must reasonably perform the required skills to receive a certification card.
